A common misconception I have come across is that treatment plants don’t need to be emptied…well they are no different to septic tanks in the way that solids still collect in one compartment and will need emptying annually.

As well as being emptied the plants requires an annual service to make sure all components are still in good order with no problems ,to make sure the plant is working efficiently and not letting untreated sewage into our watercourses.
